I am excited about being your teacher this school year and working with you on your IEP goals and class assignments. This is my 26th year teaching and my 10th year in North Carolina. I have my undergraduate degree in Special Education and two Masters, one in Reading Education and the other in Middle School Mathematics.

I grew up in Maryland and lived in Pennsylvania before moving down to Concord in 2013. My husband works for Lionel Trains and it was his job that brought us to North Carolina. We have two children, one a freshman in college and the other a sophomore. We adopted a dog this past July who keeps us busy. When I am not teaching or spending time with my family, I enjoy crafting and reading.
