BA - Earth Science Education from UNC Charlotte Certified Science, Grades 6-12

Mrs. Carie Fugle

Over the last thirteen years, Mrs. Fugle has taught Earth Science, Honors Earth Science, AP Environmental Science, & Honors Botany. 

Mrs. Fugle is fascinated by the processes that affect our beautiful home planet and environmental studies!

In 2019, Mrs. Fugle became a National Geographic Certified Educator & in the 2018-2019 school year she was named the NC Science Teacher Association's District Six Outstanding High School Science Teacher.

Mrs. Fugle is married to her high school sweetheart and they have four children! As a family, they love to spend their time exploring together.

Mrs. Fugle's philosophy on education, "My students are worth the investment for our future."
