    I am so excited to be returning to Mt. Pleasant Middle School this year! 

    I have been teaching for a total of 17 years.  I spent time teaching in Stanly County and at Winkler Middle School before joining Mt. Pleasant Middle School 4 years ago.

    I graduated from NC State University in 2004 with a Bachelor's of Science in 6-9 Math and Science Education.  I have also received a graduate certificate in Academically and Intellectually Gifted from UNCC.

    I am married with 3 children ages 5, 8, and 12.  I enjoy camping, kayaking, going to the beach, and watching my children do what they love!

    I am looking forward to a wonderful year!
