Hello!

My name is Mrs. Hatley, and I teach English as a Second Language.  This is my ninth year teaching, and my first year here at Mount Pleasant Middle School.  I grew up in the small town of Greenville, Alabama.  In 2010, I received my B.S. in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from the University of Mobile.   I taught second grade for 5 years before transitioning to ESL which I have taught for the past 3 years.  

My husband and I live in Harrisburg, NC with our two fur babies Eva and Catter.  We are currently renovating an old farmhouse in Gold Hill, NC.  Along with teaching, I enjoy traveling, being outdoors, reading something inspiring, and spending time with family and friends.  I am looking forward to a great school year!

Mi nombre es Sra. Hatley y enseño inglés como segundo idioma. Este es mi noveno año enseñando y mi primer año aquí en Mount Pleasant Middle School. Crecí en la pequeña ciudad de Greenville, Alabama. En 2010, recibí mi B.S. en Educación Infantil / Primaria de la Universidad de Mobile. Enseñé segundo grado durante 5 años antes de hacer la transición a ESL, que he enseñado durante los últimos 3 años.

Mi esposo y yo vivimos en Harrisburg, Carolina del Norte con nuestros dos bebés peludos, Eva y Catter. Actualmente estamos renovando una antigua granja en Gold Hill, Carolina del Norte. Además de enseñar, disfruto viajar, estar al aire libre, leer algo inspirador y pasar tiempo con mi familia y amigos. ¡Espero tener un gran año escolar!
