Welcome to 6th Grade!!!

I am a native North Carolinian, having lived in Raleigh, Charlotte, Midland and Matthews NC. I have a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Social Studies Education from Appalachian State University, and I am certified to teach grades 6 through 12 in History/Social Studies.  Students should have a chronological understanding of history, as well as a thematic understanding. It is my goal to help students understand how each historical event influences another, and how the past is reflected in the present.
