Welcome to the 8th Grade! I am your Social Studies teacher for the East Carolina Pirates team! I look forward to working with you to explore how both North Carolina and the United States were woven together in creating this country. We will be using a variety of ways through Canvas to study major units or eras of our history in order to better understand why we are here today and what may happen in our future. I look forward to your participation in our class activities as we start this school year in a different and challenging way, but we can do it. This begins my 24th year at MPMS school. I intend to make it one of the best, so come join me!
