Deputy McGuire

Deputy WY McGuire has worked for over 22 years at the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office. Deputy McGuire is a Senior Deputy with the agency having received her intermediate and advanced certificates.  Her past experience with the agency includes working in the jail, concealed permits, DHS, civil child support, and the special operations division/patrol.  Her time in the special operations division was primarily focused on Community Policing for all of Cabarrus County and working assigned cases.  She is an active participant in the Elder Abuse and Disabled Adults Task Force as the Vice President. Deputy McGuire previously served on the NC Crime Prevention Board.   Deputy McGuire previously was the SRO for Odell Primary.   She is a parent of a student who attended Boger so she was already a proud member of the Boger family.
