Hi! I am one of the Visual Arts teachers here at JMR and I teach classes from Intermediate Art to Advanced Visual Art as well as AP Studio Art. I have been teaching for 23 years and I thoroughly enjoy what I do. I attended college at Converse in Spartanburg, SC where I received my Bachelor's of Fine Arts, then attended UNC Charlotte to receive Certification in Art Education. My art teaching career began at the Elementary level  for 8 years in South Charlotte, then I moved to Concord and began teaching at Jay M. Robinson in 2007-08. In 2011, I achieved National Board Certification and I successfully renewed in 2021. Visual Arts is my LOVE and I enjoy the creativity and imagination of my students. I look forward to another amazing year here at JM!
