Welcome back students and parents to the 2022-23 school year at Jay M. Robinson High School. My name is Mr. Darren Hartsell and I am the masonry teacher here at JMR. I started the masonry program 18 years ago because I wanted to give students multiple options including college and construction trades. I have had a successful and enlightening career where I have won multiple awards including the Cabarrus County Impact Through Education Award as well as the North Carolina Construction Trade Teacher of the Year Award.
