Welcome to Mrs. Shoe's web page. On this site, you can find important information about our class. My goal is to help your child strive for his/her personal best in all areas. I look forward to an exciting and productive year!

Teaching is my calling.  It's my passion.  Nothing makes me happier than being greeted by those smiling faces that are ready to learn.

I am a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne College where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Birth-Kindergarten. I began teaching Pre-K in Stanly County. After 10 years I went to 2nd then Kindergarten. I later came to Cabarrus County to teach 5th grade. The last 2 years I was given the opportunity to come back to Kindergarten at the Virtual Academy.  I couldn't wait to jump back into primary grades.  I'm that teacher that loves watching her little people learn and grow. 

Personally, I am a wife and mother of 2.  Gavin, is a Senior and Ellie is a Sophomore.  When I'm not at school, I'm busy watching my son play golf or my daughter cheering year round.  Life is busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way!
