 Hello, 

My name is Megan McCormick.  My family and I are originally from a small town in West Virginia.  I love being a part of the Mount Pleasant Community!   I received both my Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in Elementary Education from West Virginia University.  Last year, I became a National Board Certified Teacher.  This is my 20th year of teaching.  At MPES, I have taught 4th and 3rd grades.  I am very excited to start a new adventure in second grade!  My husband is an EC teacher.  We have three wonderful boys.   Declan (9), Callen (8), and Flynn (7) will all attend MPES this year.  

Teaching is my passion.  I am looking forward to working with you and your child this year.  Please feel free to contact me anytime you have a question or concern.  Together, we will ensure that your child reaches his/her fullest potential!
