Any 4th and 5th grade student may participate in the Elementary Battle of the Books (E-BOB) Competition.  Students that are interested should enroll in this Canvas course: https://cabarrus.instructure.com/enroll/7MCHXC

After completing the Google form, students can checkout battle books from the media center.  Some books are available as eBooks from Destiny Discover (our media center's online collection) and from the public library (print and digital copies).

A list of E-BOB books is available at NCSLMA's website.
Student participants should read as many books as possible and take quizzes on BattleQuestions.com as they finish each book (students will receive login information).

Each elementary school in Cabarrus County has a team of 12 students in the district-wide E-BOB competition.  Our Furr team is selected based on the number of books each student has read AND his/her quiz scores on BattleQuestions.com.

Beginning in January, participants meet for practice "battles" after school virtually once a week.  The county-wide battle will take place on April 30, 2021.
For questions, please email Mrs. McElveen.  Enjoy the E-BOB books!
