    Food Policy
    Per county policy: 
    -Only items purchased in a store and complete with a label listing all ingredients can be served at parties and other class events.
    -Cupcakes or other food items are not allowed to be brought in for birthday celebrations
     
    Lunch Visitors
    -Parents may sit with their own child for lunch, but other students are not permitted. 
    -Fifth Grade Teachers all have different lunch times, so please make sure you know your student's time if you come to eat with them.
     
    Fifth Grade Homework Policy
     -Students are expected to read nightly for 20-30 minutes. They will also be given math and science homework. Please note, students may bring unfinished classwork home to complete if an absence has occurred or if they need additional work time. 
     
    -If you would like for your child to practice skills at home, additional practice can be accessed in several places: teacher websites, the math book sent home at Open House, i-Ready, or Moby Max  (these sites are designed on an individual level based on your childs needs). If you would like something more specific, please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you.
