Welcome to First Grade!  I am so excited to have you in my class.  This is my sixteenth year teaching and I have been at Odell for all of those years except one.  I have taught first grade and fourth grade during my career.  I love teaching first grade because it is a year full of growth!  I received my undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in Communication.  Go Spartans!  I worked as a banker for a few years before I decided to go back to school to get my Masters in Elementary Education from Oakland University.   I am married and have twins that attend Odell Elementary.  They will be in fourth grade this year.  I enjoy reading, yoga and being outdoors.  I can't wait to start this school year!   I know that we are going to have a great year together.
