Welcome to 2nd Grade!
I graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education and from the University of South Carolina with a Master of Education in elementary education. This is my 29th year of teaching. I have taught in NC, SC and FL. I have taught 4th and 5th grades, but my favorite is 2nd!
My husband and I have two daughters; Sara is twenty (Junior at ASU), and Ellie is seventeen years old (senior at Cox Mill High School). Ellie swims year round, so I am very much a swim mom! We have @ 120 pound ball of joy~ Great Dane named Bea and a black lab named Lucy! I enjoy reading, walking, watching the South Carolina Gamecocks, and anything gluten free! If you are looking for me on a weekend, head for the mountains! It is my happy place and I truly love being up there!
