Stephanie Halkovitch

HELLO HELLO WELCOME TO KINDERGARTEN!!!

My name is Stephanie Halkovitch and I am so beyond excited to be your child’s kindergarten teacher this year! Kindergarten is my favorite grade to teach and it is truly where my passion lies. I am originally from Utica, NY and am a die hard New York Yankees fan. I am a proud mother of a beautiful 3 year old baby girl and a spunky german shepherd named Luna. This is my first year teaching at Odell Primary and I couldn't be happier to be apart of the Odell dragon family.

I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2016 with a BA in Elementary Education and a minor in Child and Family Development, GO NINERS!! In the course of my 5 years as a teacher, I have taught kindergarten, fifth grade, and a gifted AIG kindergarten/first grade combo class. I have taught and substituted in Cabarrus County and before coming to Cabarrus County I taught in Kannapolis at a charter school. I was a student growing up in Cabarrus County myself, I attended Rocky River Elementary, CC Griffin Middle, and Central Cabarrus High School, so it is awesome to now be a teacher in Cabarrus County. I am beyond excited for a great school year at Odell. Go Dragons!
