Mrs. Karen Harper
Welcome to CVA! I am so happy to have you here. I am in my 17th year of teaching and am excited to be working in the Virtual Academy this year. I graduated from Ohio University with a double major in English Literature and in Secondary English Education. I received my Masters of Arts in English Literature from UNCC. I am also a National Board Certified teacher.
My husband, Jason, and I live in Union County with our two sons, Reid and Ian. I have taught high school English for my entire career, and I love being a teacher. In fact, I come from a family of educators: my father and older brother are both English teachers, and my mother worked in the school system as well.
