Mrs. Kellie Carl

Hello Knights! My name is Mrs. Carl, and I am from Denver, NC. I teach band grades 6-8 here at J.N. Fries. I am so excited to be returning for my second year here at J.N.F. Before I was a band director, I worked as a woodwind specialist with Mount Pleasant Middle School, Mount Pleasant High School, Myers Park High School, and Cuthbertson High school. I started band on the clarinet in 7th grade and this was my primary instrument throughout middle school, high school, and college. In my free time, I enjoy drinking iced coffee, listening to Taylor Swift, and spending time with my husband and our two puppies!
