Mrs. Zappala

Greetings! My name is Ms. Zappala and I am the Middle Grades Language Arts teacher here at Opportunity School. This will be my 15th year of teaching middle school and I am very excited to be a part of the team this year. 

I graduated from UNC-Greensboro with a highly qualified degree in Middle Grades Education with concentrations in Language Arts and Social Studies. I also hold a certification in High School English.

I recently moved to Concord, NC after spending 5 years teaching in Philadelphia, PA. While I loved the city, I am happy to be back in NC and closer to my family.
