Robert Montgomery

Hello, my name is Robert Montgomery and I am the high school Social Studies teacher here at the Opportunity School. I have been teaching for 7 years and joined Cabarrus County from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where I received my degrees in History and Political Science. I continued my education earning my Masters in teaching from UNCC. I am teaching the four core social studies classes: World History, Civics & Economics, and American History 1 & 2. The classes will blend traditional teaching with online teaching through Canvas. I look forward to teaching our child this year!
