Dan Nave

         

          This is my 10th year at The Opportunity School.  I am originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana where I received my degree in Health & Physical Education from Manchester College. 

 

          My role as the Lead Teacher includes tracking all student behavior with our Point & Level System, facilitating the district's initiative for a Multi-Tiered System of Support, intervening to support students who are displaying behavior issues in the classroom, and overseeing students in our Tier 2 & 3 programs.

 

          The smaller school atmosphere fosters positive teacher-student relationships that are unmatched in other school environments.  This allows our students to flourish at school both academically and socially.  My goal is to equip our students with the necessary skills needed to be successful at their home-schools and beyond.
