Mrs. Brandi Harris
ALL ABOUT ME:
My name is Mrs. Harris and I have served at the Opportunity School since 2012. Prior to starting my career with Cabarrus County Schools, I worked in Mecklenburg County as an Individual and Family Therapist. I am licensed as a School Social Worker, as well as a Clinical Social Worker for the state of North Carolina.
I received my Bachelor of Social Work degree from North Carolina Central University and my Joint - Masters of Social Work degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. As a School Social Worker, I work directly with school administrators as well as students and families, providing leadership in forming school discipline policies, mental health intervention, crisis management, and support services. I also help to facilitate community involvement in the schools while advocating for student success. Our primary role is to assist with eliminating barriers to successful learning.
In my spare time, I love to travel and spend time with my family.
This will be a GREAT YEAR and I look forward to working with you!
