Welcome to my page!   I am so excited to be working at the Opportunity School this year as the first school counselor at Opportunity!

I am excited to be begining my 11th year as a school counselor in Cabarrus County Schools.   Prior to coming to Opportunity school I worked for Mount Pleasant High School.   School counseling is my second career.   Before becoming a school counselor, I worked as a Mental Health Counselor and Substance Abuse Clinician in Mecklenburg County.    

Personal facts:  I have a 17 year-old son that is a senior at Cox Mill High School (but I will never cheer for the Chargers!).   I am also a mom to three wonderful pups :)
