Ms. Buck

Welcome! I am very excited about being Villegas Middle School's Instructional Coach.  This is my 3rd year in this position, and I absolutely love it.  I do have the opportunity to work with students occasionally, but my focus is on teacher/staff support.  I enjoy helping teachers and staff stay current with the latest techniques and technologies in their classrooms, as well as supporting them to achieve their goals. 

A little about me....

I am beginning my 24th year in education.  I taught 5th grade at McAuliffe Elementary School for three years prior to transferring to Villegas.  I have had the opportunity to work with 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in many capacities, including teaching math, science, ELA, and history; serving as the OCI teacher; serving as the interim Assistant Principal; and most recently, serving as the Instructional Coach.  I love my career, and have found my niche with middle schoolers.  Witnessing our students mature into responsible, hard-working scholars is the most rewarding part of my job, and I am very fortunate to be able to work at such an amazing school!
