Thank you for visiting my teacher page. I am excited to be your child's teacher for the 2022-2023 school year and am looking forward to having a great year together!

I began my teaching career in 2002 when Villegas Middle School first opened, so this is my 21st year teaching at Villegas. I earned my undergraduate degree and my M.A. in Education from California Baptist University.  I love my job and enjoy finding ways to keep my students actively engaged, while maintaining positive relationships with them and ensuring that the learning experience is fun and meaningful. 

Other than striving to be the best teacher that I can be, my interests include: Playing with my Pekingese, cleaning, organizing, cooking, reading for personal development, hiking, relaxing, tutoring, spending time with my family, and teaching fitness classes.
