Ms. Mahmoud

Greetings!

I am Ms. Mahmoud, and I teach 7th & 8th grade English Language Arts (ELA)! I love teaching, and I count each and every day as a blessing.

Teaching has long been a passion of mine. I graduated from UCLA in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in English and a minor in Education Studies. I immediately followed up on my undergraduate career by attending CSUF for my single subject teaching credential in English - and here I am today! 

My #1 priority is to provide my students with the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of language. As such, I will develop and strengthen their ability to meaningfully read, write, listen, and speak. Such skills include citing textual evidence, interpreting text on a high level, presenting evidence, composing essays of different genres, and more. Our class is split up into four major units, and with that, the introduction of a few novels and plays.
