Mrs. Haring

Hi there! I'm Mrs. Haring, and I teach CTE, AVID and Yearbook here at Villegas Middle School. I live right here in Riverside with my husband, daughter, and two sons. Before coming to Riverside, I lived in Rancho Cucamonga, where I graduated from Etiwanda High School. I continued my education at California State University of San Bernardino, where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing. I then went on to receive my Master of Education degree in Secondary Education & ELA credential at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, and my CTE credential from University of San Diego in the pathways of Arts, Media & Entertainment, Education, Childcare & Family Services, & Manufacturing & Product Development.

My hobbies include classic cars, karaoke, punk rock or oldies music, hiking/fitness, anything retro, vintage, or rockabilly, Egyptology, travel, and humanitarian endeavors. Compassion is the key to pure joy! Someday, I hope to see the Northern Lights, see the Notre Dame cathedral, go ziplining, and learn to juggle.

I became a teacher because I love learning, and it is my lifelong goal to instill that passion into the youth of today.
