How Were Units Created?

Starting with the 2013 - 14 teachers met twice a month to learn about Rigorous Curriculum Design and then apply what they learned to create units. Additionally, teachers met after school to complete units. The units took a great deal of effort for teachers to complete.

The Leadership and Learning Center also provided professional development in learning RCD and creating the units of study.

The process will continue as teachers complete next year's units. The units that you see represent teachers best efforts but the units are not final. The units will go through a process of creating, implementing, and then refining year after year..
