Comprehensive School Safety Plans

It is the policy of the Alvord Unified School District Board of Education that all students enrolled in this District, and all employees employed by this District, have the right to attend campuses which are safe and secure.

The Board of Education believes that a beginning step toward safer schools is the development of a comprehensive school safety plan for every school within the District.  The Board of Education acknowledges that parents, students, teachers, administrators, counselors, classified personnel, and community agencies such as local law enforcement and other first responder entities, participate in the development of the plan.
