The rumble of motorcycles greeted children and their parents waiting in the parking lot of Rio Plaza School in Oxnard on Saturday.
Santa and hundreds of riders had come to deliver Christmas presents to children from around the area for a toy run organized by the Camarillo chapter of Bikers for Christ.
The motorcycle riders came from all over Southern California to bring joy to 600 migrant students from school districts throughout the County.
The toy drive was organized for migrant workers’ children, who often only get Christmas gifts during the event. More than 200 bikers cruised into the school parking lot as children smiled, waved and held welcome posters.
