We would like to welcome all new and returning parents and students for the new school year. We encourage you to participate in the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), School Site Council (SSC), English Language Acquisition Committee (ELAC), and other site committees and projects. Welcome to our Knights for the 2022-2023 school year. I am Leslie Pimentel and I am honored to return to Rio del Valle Middle School as the principal to join the dedicated and hardworking staff committed to excellence for all students.

Together the RdV staff strives towards our mission of being a guiding force in preparing all RdV students for a successful future.  We emphasize hard work, good character, perseverance, learning, and service to others.  We offer a variety of programs for students including AVID, Honors, AVID Excel, elective classes, and sports to aid in the development of student excellence.

We are always looking for paths to develop and strengthen school and home partnerships through involvement in School Site Council, ELAC, PTA as well as hosting events that welcome our community onto the campus.
