In celebration of National Native American Heritage Month, Third Grade invited Kyla Selvy to speak to the students about her families culture. Kyla claims half her heritage Native American which  consists of 50 percent Chickasaw and 50 percent Choctaw nations.  She brought a picture of her grandparents whom were full blooded Native American and a necklace her grandmother made to show the students. Kyla lives in Oklahoma. She is Glenda Selvy's daughter-in-law and a cousin to Shaylea V.  We appreciate Ms. Selvy  sharing her knowledge and memories with us!
