Otto-Matic the Robot Teaches Third-Grade They Are Too Good For Drugs
The 3rd-grade students are excited to have the robot Otto-Matic join their class for Guidance lessons. For the next ten weeks, they will be learning to set reachable goals, decision-making, managing emotions and effective communication skills through the Too Good for Drugs program. This unit emphasizes good character education by teaching positive attitudes and behaviors. Parents are the most important moral educators and each lesson has an at-home assignment to reinforce the skill taught in class. The program is sponsored by Preferred Family Health Care.
