Memorization of Multiplication Facts Decreases Time Spent on Assignments

What are the benefits of your student memorizing math facts? 

When a student memorizes math facts, they build fluency in math and have a higher confidence level in their academic performance. They are stronger (and quicker) with problem-solving, algebra, and higher-order math concepts.

Basically, the student feels more confident in class. They will spend less time on assignments as they will not have to stop and figure out a basic math fact to be able to answer the question being asked.

There are several online sites available for students to practice their skills. My Cadet Teacher found this site, https://www.timestables.com/games/. It has several options available for students to work on while mastering their multiplication tables.
