Middle School Math - "That's How We Roll!"

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year!

My name is Shelly Irelan, and I am super excited to be teaching 6th and 7th-grade math again this year at Putnam County R-1!  This year I also have the privilege of teaching the 7th-grade STEM class.  I am enjoying meeting and working with the students and look forward to watching them grow in the math world.  Our classroom theme is "Yahtzee!  That's how we roll!"  

I enjoy going to as many activities throughout the year as I can. I am the junior high football and basketball cheerleading coach and am ready to help cheer the JH teams on to victories!  My cheering won't stop there.  You will also see me at JH softball games, high school basketball games and JH/HS track meets as I root on Kaden, Jade, and Karley throughout their sports.  I enjoy horses, the sport of barrel racing, and relaxing on the lake.
