3D Printer Debut's In Mr. Watt's Classes

There is an additional sense of discovery this fall, as students begin to explore possibilities with our new 3-D printer in Mr. Watt's science classroom.  The Flash Forge Creator Pro has a wide variety of capabilities, and students are beginning to generate ideas about what they would like to accomplish with the printer.  Mr. Watt's ninth period THRIVE students have had several opportunities to explore the capabilities of the new printer, and Sofia recorded it in action:  (Click to view the 3D Printer Video).  Sophomore biology students will also have the option to add 3D prototypes to their Toshiba ExploraVision projects, which will be due February 10, 2020.  Teams of biology students will be working on these projects throughout the school year.  We are excited about the possibilities and breakthrough discoveries that will be made this year!
