Brain Balance Activities and Vitamin D
In Mrs. Whitworth's class today, they enjoyed the beautiful sunshine during adventure time by cup stacking and pulling weeds in front of the elementary.
Cup stacking promotes physical fitness and academic learning. Students use both their right and left sides of their brain for these exercises. When students sport stack they are crossing the "midline" of their bodies and developing new connections in their brains. These new connections help to spur brain growth which in turn promotes greater academic achievement.
Way to make learning fun, Mrs. Whitworth and Mr. Mayer!
