Have you heard of "The Last Great Race on Earth"? This world-famous race is called the Iditarod. This amazing race is a dog sled race held the first Saturday of every March in Anchorage, Alaska.  Throughout February, Mrs. Whitworth's Third Graders will be researching about this famous race and choose a musher to cheer on come March.  Here are a couple of websites to learn more about the Iditarod.
