Just a friendly reminder that students are allowed to make corrections to assignments that are sent home in the Friday folder. They must be returned on Monday when student brings back their Friday folders.
I am sending home a letter in regards to parent/teacher conferences. Please look over the paper. It is indicating whether I need to see you for conferences or not. I have also attached the data reading sheet that indicates your child’s scores. If you have questions please feel free to contact me.
We had a great time celebrating Dr. Suess this week. The students enjoyed being able to do the Read-A-Thon.
Book Reports: _______ out of 12 for grade. Must have 21 for Gold Star.
Communication Arts: We will be working on “OW” and “OA”.
Math: We will continue to work on unit 9. It works with comparing and ordering numbers to 100. Please continue to practice math fact flash cards every night with your child. It is very important they know their basic facts quickly. At the end of the year we do a banana split party and the students earn their banana split parts by passing their addition math fact timed tests.
Social Studies: We will be working on Geography.
Science: We will be taking a break.
Spelling: Please study spelling words nightly.
Friendly Reminders/Upcoming Events:
-milk tickets are $7.00 for 20 punches and $1.75 for 5 punches. Please make sure your child has a milk ticket.
