About the Teacher
Welcome to FIFTH grade and Room D128! Are you ready for a fantastic year? I have been planning all summer for our upcoming year. If this is your first time as a 5th grade parent or your last time, I have put together this packet to give you an overall view of our classroom routines, my expectations, the curriculum, and special procedures. Getting acquainted with our class routines and expectations at the beginning of the year will save lots of time later.
A little bit of information about me. This is my 10th year teaching at Columbia. I graduated in 1997 from WSU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. In the 2002 I graduated from Western Washington University with my teaching credentials. I worked several years in the Everett School District before deciding to start a family of my own. I have a 9th grade son, a 8th grade daughter, and wonderful husband.
