Wecome to 5th grade!
My name is Janelle Harmon. I was born and raised in Mukilteo. I attended both Mukilteo and Columbia Elementary Schools, as well as Harbour Pointe MS and Kamiak. HS. During my schooling, I was actively involved in swimming, choir and theater. I attended Western Washington University in Bellingham where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Education. Soon after, I began my teaching career at Columbia Elementary as a 5th grade teacher in the fall of 2007. I received a Masters degree from the American College of Education (ACE) for Educational Technology in 2018.
My husband works in engineering and design for the military. We have three energetic and creative boys, Finn was born in 2014, Blake in 2016, and August in 2019.
Some of my hobbies include being in/on the water (swinning, boats, innertubes, skiis), cooking, playing board/card games with my family, and attending Seattle Sounders matches (we are proud season ticket holders).
Some of my favorite things include hot chocolate with whipped cream, Taro bubble tea, Funyuns, and sushi.
