Mrs. Carlisle is the counselor at Mountain Brook Elementary serving kindergarten through sixth grade. She has been an elementary school counselor since 2007. In addition to the school setting, she has experience working in addiction recovery and in a community agency. She is passionate about teaching students skills necessary to cope with life events to help them become successful adults who can attack life's challenges and turn them into opportunities for growth. 

As the school counselor, Mrs. Carlisle provides multiple services and is active on several teams to help meet the academic, career development, social, and emotional needs of students. In addition to counseling services, she supports academic development as the 504 Coordinator (disabilities not covered by special education) and by serving on the Student Support Team.
