About MBE Technology

- All Mountain Brook Elementary classrooms are equipped with an interactive panel, teacher desktop, document camera, sound system, webcam, and some also are equipped with a projector.
- We have a 1:1 Chromebook environment for all faculty and students. Chromebooks can wirelessly print to local network printers throughout the school.
- We have a 3:1 iPad environment for students.
- We share a laptop cart as needed.
- All MBE desktops and laptops can print to our faculty copiers. Each grade level/area/office has at least one network printer in close proximity.
- The MBE Library has several search stations.
- Grades K-6 utilize Schoology as their Learning Management System to provide online and blended learning opportunities.
- All MBE users utilize GSuite for Schools to collaborate. Student Google Gmail is restricted for K-5 students and filtered for grade 6 students.
- All MBE students and staff have a personal network drive and a shared drive space that is backed up on our server.
- All MBE teachers and students have access through ClassLink to a variety of district-vetted applications that are grade level apprropriate resources such as Brainpop, Typing Agent, Seesaw, etc.
