Brookwood Forest Elementary and Mountain Brook Elementary: Shannon Millhouse

Shannon Millhouse has taught for Mountain Brook Schools since 2003. She is a graduate of San Francisco State University. She earned National Board Certification in Early Adolescent Math in 2010, and she renewed in 2020. She taught sixth-grade math for 14 years and became the math coach for Mountain Brook Elementary and Brookwood Forest Elementary in 2017.

Cherokee Bend Elementary and Crestline Elementary: Stacy Dorsten

Stacy Dorsten came to Mountain Brook Schools as a classroom teacher in 2008.  She has taught first grade and sixth grade math at Crestline Elementary School.  Prior to coming to Mountain Brook, she taught  in Virginia Beach, Virginia; Mobile, Alabama; and Auburn, Alabama.  She currently supports the students and staff at Cherokee Bend Elementary and Crestline Elementary in her role as Math Coach. She has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Auburn University, and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Montevallo.
