The Secondary Curriculum Department at Miami Trace t is dedicated to supporting the mission of Miami Trace by providing each of our students with opportunities and relationships to prepare them for future success.

We oversee all aspects of curriculum, course offerings, assessment, professional development, the English Learner Program, and alternate learning opportunities. Additionally, we assist with intervention and extension planning at both Miami Trace Middle School and Miami Trace High School.

Our primary goal is to work collaboratively with teachers and administrators to facilitate the development and implementation of curriculum and instructional practices aligned with Ohio’s Learning Standards for all academic areas. We understand the importance of preparing students for a changing, competitive, global workplace. Therefore, we strive to provide opportunities that extend beyond the boundaries of our schools through partnerships with business and industry, as well as college coursework.

We are leading the way for positive change and the development of best practices and systems to support teachers, parents, and students.
