Carol Davis

Mrs. Davis is a third grade teacher and has taught at Woodard Elementary for over thirty years. Her favorite subject to teach is Math, but she loves helping students learn in all subject areas. In her spare time, Mrs. Davis enjoys reading, knitting, jogging, and spending time with family and friends. A cool thing to know about Mrs. Davis is that she can stand on her head!!

Amy Luna

Mrs. Luna is currently in her 22nd year of teaching and her 2nd year at Woodard Elementary. She has taught in Maury County Schools for 17 years and in Memphis City Schools for 5 years. She loves teaching math and it is her favorite subject. In her spare time, she likes spending time with her family, reading, and being outdoors.

Christy Neas

Mrs. Neas currently teaches third grade at Woodard Elementary. Her favorite things to teach are math, science, and anything STEM related. She looks forward to her students being engulfed, engaged and enriched by their learning experiences. Mrs. Neas loves spending time with her family and friends, reading, or enjoying time on the water. She looks forward to another great year teaching the Woodard Wildcats!

Dawn Smith

Mrs. Smith has been shaping little minds for over 30 years! More than half of those years have been spent at Woodard teaching Woodard Wildcats! Over the years, she has taught Title I Reading, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. She enjoys building relationships with students and creating a classroom family environment in which students feel safe, supported, loved, and valued. In her spare time, she loves working out, eating healthy, shopping, cheering for the UT Vols, and spending time with her husband, Brian, and three precious grandchildren; Addison Kate, Lincoln, and Ava-Shay. Also, she has a sweet Yorkie named Zeva Diva. Mrs. Smith is looking forward to another fun and rewarding year at Woodard!

Laura Watts

Mrs. Watts has taught for 31 years. She has wanted to be a teacher since she was in third grade. Her 3rd grade teacher made a lasting impact on her life. She hopes to do that every day with her students. During her time as an educator, she taught 3rd and 4th grades. She also served as a literacy coach in Maury County for 7 years. She is originally from Alabama, but she has lived in Columbia for 35 years. Mrs. Watts loves spending time with her family and rooting for the Crimson Tide!
