Mrs. Cockrell is from Memphis and lived in Chattanooga for almost ten years before moving to Columbia. She and her husband Rusty have two sons, Archer and Jonah. This is Mrs. Cockrell's first year teaching at Woodard. Prior to this year, she has taught both 4th and 2nd grade. She loves to run, read, spend time outside with friends and family. Her favorite part of teaching is building a community within her classroom and seeing students grow throughout the year. 

Mrs. DeLaBruere, also known as "Mrs. D," has been teaching 2^nd grade at Woodard Elementary for 11 years. She is married to her husband, Eric, and they have 3 adult children who were all Woodard Wildcats. Mrs. D enjoys being with her family and weekend getaways. She loves each and every student who comes into her classroom. She believes in all her students and encourages them to reach their fullest potential.

Mrs. Hoath loves teaching 2nd grade here at Woodard Elementary School. She has been teaching for 12 years and has been at Woodard for the last 6 years. She previously taught kindergarten and 1st grade, but 2nd is her favorite! She has a husband who is also an educator/football coach, and they have 4 children. Mrs. Hoath loves spending time with her family and supporting all their activities. She loves investing in her students, building positive relationships with them, and growing their love for learning! One interesting fact is Mr. Davis, our PE teacher, is her oldest brother!

Mrs. O’Cain is a 2nd grade teacher here at Woodard Elementary. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University in Elementary Education grades K-6. Mrs. O’Cain grew up in Tennessee and moved to the Columbia area several years ago with her husband, Brian, and three boys, Colton, Wyatt, and Reed. Mrs. Cain loves spending her days teaching students, and in her spare time, she enjoys puzzles, curling up with a good book, and spending time with friends and family. She wants to foster a love of learning and strives to create a welcoming environment for all students.

Megan Rummage teaches second grade at J.E. Woodard Elementary School. She graduated from UNA in Florence, Alabama with both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Miss Rummage attended J.E. Woodard from Kindergarten - 5th grade, was inspired by the faculty and staff as a student to go into the teaching profession, and is so excited to now be a part of the Woodard family as a teacher!

Ms. VanWormer teaches 2nd grade at Woodard Elementary. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with an Elementary Education K-6 degree. She serves as Woodard's Teacher Advisory Council representative. She loves reading and encouraging a passion for reading in her students. In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
