Hey Y'all!

This is Coach Goertz, aka Awesome Geometry teacher and Head Volleyball Coach! I am originally from San Antonio, but I moved out to the Texas hill country to attend Schreiner University where I played college basketball and ran cross country. During my time at Schreiner, I was president of the math honor society and participated in multiple years of math research with an emphasis on game theory. Upon graduating, I took my first teaching and coaching job in Fredericksburg, Tx for two years before moving to the beautiful town of Marble Falls.

This is my sixth year in Marble Falls and my eighth year in education. I am also excited because this is my first year as the head volleyball coach for MFHS.
