Office Hours: Should studnets have a brief question about an assignment or a matter concerning class, I can be reached messaging me through their teacher’s Google Classroom. For other concerns or for assignment support, I will be making myself available to students only Monday through Friday by video conference .

If there is an emergency and you need to talk to me by phone, or parents need to contact me, please message me first and I will try contacting you as soon as I am available.

Assignment Expectations: For our first week back, teachers are planning an Enrichment Week to ease students back into a schedule and give us all a chance to get us all used to our new methods of instruction and learning. Each teacher has their own Google Classroom where they will post assignments and provide links for learning. Anticipate a bit of chaos at first, and bear with us as we iron out the wrinkles.

Special Education and Accommodations & Supports for my Caseload Students: As graded instruction resumes next week, I plan to take a more active role in assisting your child with assignments in which they have questions or require support. This will sometimes include grading. All accommodations and supports laid out in your student’s IEP still apply, including shortened assignments and/or allowances for extra time to complete them. Please consult your student’s IEP. If you have any concerns or questions, do not hesitate to contact me.

Online Expectations: We do expect students to behave appropriately during Zoom or Google Classroom sessions--commenting, asking questions, answering classmate questions, emails, or online interactive experiences, etc. Abide by your teacher’s rules and guidelines. It should go without saying that bullying will not be tolerated, and in the event that it does occur, the appropriate administrator will be contacted.
