Clovis Unified’s Measure A is on the ballot this November. Measure A is a facility bond measure that maintains a stable tax rate and would provide for: 
  • Safety, energy efficiency and technology upgrades for ALL schools.
  • Modernization and repairs to aging schools.
  • Completion of our new high school to ease overcrowding.

Preschool 2024/2025 Registration

Register now for the 2024-2025 school year!  

Please read through ALL of the steps below before beginning the registration process.  If you require any assistance please call the Preschool office at 559.327.9180.

CSPP STEP 1: Age Qualification

DOES MY CHILD MEET THE AGE QUALIFICATION? 
For the 2024-2025 school year, first make sure that:
• Your child is 4 years old ON or BEFORE March 2, 2025 OR
•  Your child is 5 years old ON or AFTER September 2, 2024

For the 2024-2025 school year, first make sure that:
Your child is 4 years old ON or BEFORE March 2, 2025 OR
Turns five years old on or after September 2, 2024

CSPP STEP 2: Eligibility

IS MY CHILD ELIGIBLE FOR A CA STATE PRESCHOOL?
Clovis Unified Preschool offers CA State Preschool Programs (CSPP), which are provided at no-cost to eligible families.  
 
CA STATE PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS (CSPP) (no cost)
 Eligibility for CSPP is based on the documentation and verification of ONE of the following:
  • At-risk of abuse, neglect, and/or exploitation
  • Child Protective Services (CPS) 
  • Homelessness
  • Current Government Benefits Recipient (CalWorks, Medi-Cal, WIC, CalFresh, etc)
  • Income Eligible (Click HERE to see the current guidelines)
  • Children with exceptional needs (active IEP required)
  • Reside within the attendance boundary of: Pinedale, Sierra Vista, Tarpey, or Weldon

NOTE:  A physical and TB risk assessment is not required at the time of registration.  If your doctor does not have a standard form they use, here is a Physicians Report Form you may print and take to your doctor.

PP STEP 2: Eligibility & Fees

IS MY CHILD ELIGIBLE FOR CUSD PRIVATE PAY PRESCHOOL?
All children meeting the age qualifications are eligible for Private Pay (fee-based) Preschool.
 
CUSD PRIVATE PAY PRESCHOOL FEES
  • $35 per day (Click HERE for Monthly Tuition Breakdown)
  • A one-time registration fee of $30 (single child) or $40 (family) will be applied to your first bill.
  • Payment is due the 1st of each month.  A monthly statement containing the amount due is delivered prior to the 1st of each month.
  • If monthly payment is not received by the 10th of the month a late payment fee of $15 will be applied to your account.
  • If 30 days lapse without payment in full, termination of services may occur.

Students may attend an CSPP Preschool program. Families do not need to live within the CUSD boundaries. Parents must provide transportation. You may choose any school site and an AM or PM program. PP STEP 3: School Site

Students may attend either Private Pay Program. Families do not need to live within the CUSD boundaries. Parents must provide transportation. The earlier you register, the more likely you will get your first choice of school site/program.

CSPP & PP STEP 4: ONLINE REGISTRATION

Now that you have determined if you will be registering for a CSPP Preschool Program or a Private Pay Program, you are ready to complete the online application. We recommend completing the application on a computer/laptop and NOT a smart phone. You will fill out the online application, upload required documents and make an appointment to meet with one of our preschool registrars to finish the process.  If you are unable to upload documents you may bring them with you to the registration appointment.  Be sure to refer to the Registration Instructions for a list of required documents. The registration process cannot be completed until all documentation is verified.  ALL REGISTRATION APPOINTMENTS TAKE PLACE AT THE CHILD DEVELOPMENT OFFICE AT 1735 DAVID E COOK WAY, CLOVIS 93611.
